Term 4 2026 art classes at Stonefields School exploring landscapes through the work of Aotearoa artists.
Creative Matters’ weekly art classes help children aged 5–13 develop artistic skills, creative thinking and confidence in a supportive environment.
Term 4 2026: Luscious Landscapes
Inspired by Aotearoa artists, students will explore landscapes, birds, foliage and abstract scenes using acrylics, watercolours, sketching, colour mixing, layering, texture, pattern and stencils.
Over nine weeks, children will strengthen their painting skills while experimenting and developing their own artistic style. An optional mixed-media project may include painted paper, collage and textured materials.
