A fun class designed to encourage each child’s unique creativity and confidence while they learn what makes a great TV or film performance.
Students will explore:
- Embodying character, story and world
- Reading and preparing scripts
- Creating imaginative worlds
- Awareness of camera and technical requirements of screen craft
- On-screen presence
- Vocal and physical tools/exploration
While this class appreciates enthusiasm, it is equally important that your child is also prepared to act with discipline and focus.
Teaching artist: Ruby Love
Ruby Love (Power Rangers, Burying Brian, Life’s a Riot) began acting professionally at the age of 6 and fell in love. She brings with her 15+ years of experience and has since studied at Te Kura o Toi Whakaari: NZ Drama School and École Philippe Gaulier. Ruby continues to work across stage, screen and as a voice artist and delights in facilitating opportunities for actors to train and explore.
