Explore the magic of night photography in this intermediate-level course designed for photographers with prior experience.

Over five weeks, you’ll develop both your technical skills and creative approach while learning how to capture striking images in low-light conditions. Discover how to work with light, colour and movement to create atmospheric photos that reveal scenes beyond what the human eye can see.

What you’ll learn:

• Equipment and camera setup for night photography
• Composition and editing techniques for low-light images
• How to confidently use manual settings in night photography
• Creative techniques such as light painting, light trails and intentional camera movement
• How to use light and colour to create dynamic and expressive images

The course includes evening field trips, giving you the opportunity to practise in real-world settings with guidance from an experienced tutor.

Requirements:
You’ll need a tripod and a fully manual DSLR or mirrorless camera. A neutral density filter and cable release remote are recommended. An intermediate understanding of camera functions is required. Not suitable for point-and-shoot cameras.
