A great way to spend your Sunday mornings! Early bird price $225, ends 2 June
Spend your Sunday mornings immersed in creativity, learning the timeless craft of jewellery-making in our warm, welcoming studio.
This short course is the perfect introduction for complete beginners, guiding you step-by-step through the essential techniques used by jewellers. You’ll start by working in copper or brass, building confidence as you learn to cut, heat, shape and texture metal.
From there, you can choose to move into silver and bring your ideas to life in more refined pieces. A beautiful textured ring band is an ideal first project, but once you’ve mastered the basics, the possibilities really open up—create earrings, pendants, or small bespoke pieces that reflect your personal style.
You’ll learn how to solder using a jeweller’s torch, refine your finishing techniques, and polish your work to a professional shine. It’s a hands-on, deeply satisfying process, and there’s nothing quite like wearing something you’ve made yourself.
These Sunday sessions are also perfect for returning students and more experienced makers who want dedicated studio time, guidance on more ambitious projects, and the chance to be part of a friendly, creative community.
Materials are purchased as you go, so you can tailor your projects to your budget and ideas. Beginners typically spend around $50–$70 on metals over the course.
This block is ideal for teens and young creatives aged 12 and up. Please note: anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an enrolled parent or caregiver.
