Get creative with your whānau at these free drop-in art-making sessions held every weekend and during school holidays at Auckland Art Gallery.
This month’s activity is inspired by RMB City, a virtual city created by Chinese artist Cao Fei and featured in the exhibition Forever Tomorrow: Chinese Art Now. Explore how memories, imagination, and future possibilities come together to shape the places we live.
After visiting the exhibition, join the collaborative art activity and help build a dream city using blocks and a variety of creative materials. Draw on your own experiences, ideas, and imagination to create buildings, landmarks, and spaces that reflect the city you would love to see in the future.
Suitable for all ages. Children under 12 receive free entry to the exhibition.
