This creative school holiday workshop invites children aged 6–11 to explore mixed media art while designing and making their own painted paper puppets with moving parts.
Guided by tutor Ruth Thomas, children will experiment with colour, texture, painting and collage techniques while creating imaginative puppet characters full of personality and movement. The workshop encourages creativity, hands-on making and artistic confidence in a fun and supportive studio environment.
Suitable for children who enjoy art, crafts and creative projects during the school holidays.
All materials are supplied, including smocks to help keep clothing clean.
Please bring a drink bottle and morning tea.
Please note: wheelchair access into the school and Ceramics Studio is available via the top driveway entrance. Some studio spaces are accessible only by stairs.
