This creative two-day printmaking holiday workshop introduces teenagers to the art of collography through hands-on experimentation and self-inspired design projects in a professional studio environment.
Guided by award-winning printmaker Jude Gordon, participants will explore the versatile printmaking technique of collagraphy by creating textured printing plates using layered materials attached to a rigid surface. Students will then ink and print their designs using a printing press to create finished artworks ready to display and take home.
The workshop encourages creativity, self-expression and experimentation while introducing young artists to professional printmaking processes and techniques.
Suitable for teenagers interested in printmaking, mixed media and creative studio practice.
Please note: due to the use of heavy printmaking equipment, this workshop is suitable for ages 12 and above only.
