A creative clay sculpting workshop for children and their caregivers to learn hand-building techniques together.

Children and their caregivers are invited to learn how to sculpt with clay!

Our popular whānau workshops are designed to allow tamariki and their caregivers work on their own projects side-by-side and learn basic hand-building techniques from our wonderful tutor Christine Winbush. Sculpting creations change every term so if you've joined us before, you'll be creating something new & different to take home!

The pieces will be fired once, (bisqued) and can be decorated with paint at home. All creatures will be ready for pickup approximately 3 weeks later depending on drying times.

Recommended age for children is 6 and up. The booking is for one child and one adult and an additional child can be added for only $29.

Bring an apron or wear clothes that you are comfortable getting clay on.

Accessibility: Wheelchair access into the school and Ceramics Studio is located at the top of the driveway to the left of the main house. The Drawbridge Print Studio and the Upstairs Front Studio are accessible only via internal stairs. Please get in touch at inverlochyartschool@gmail.com to let us know how we can help.
