A free whānau day of activities inspired by the exhibition Breathe | Mauri Ora: An Immersive Journey into Nature by Marshmallow Laser Feast.
Slow down. Look closely. Breathe together. This whānau day invites tamariki and curious minds of all ages to explore connections within te taiao through creative activities.
Visitors can follow a trail inspired by the exhibition and take part in hands-on experiences including art-making, listening to the sounds of taonga puoro, and close looking.
Your whānau is invited to explore the dazzling scale of our universe, from the cosmic to the cellular.
The day aligns with International Slow Art Day, encouraging us to take our time, follow our curiosity, and notice new details.
Activities take place across Te Taiao (Level 2), Toi Art (Level 4), and Rongomaraeroa marae (Level 4).
Free with museum entry. The exhibition Breathe | Mauri Ora runs separately and exhibition tickets can be purchased separately.
