A community dialogue exploring the potential for a harm-reduction hub in central Auckland.
Making Space is a community dialogue exploring what a harm-reduction hub in central Tāmaki Makaurau could look like. Bringing together lived experience, community knowledge and professional perspectives, the gathering will create space to identify what’s missing, imagine what could be possible and begin shaping a resource grounded in the needs of the people it would serve.
We’ve invited people deep in the mahi of harm reduction to share a little bit about their kaupapa and the challenges they’re facing and how we can work collectively to resolve these.
But mostly, this gathering is about kōrero and dialogue towards a shared understanding of what Tāmaki Makaurau is most needing at the moment in this space.
The gathering is made possible by the support of CAYAD (Community Action on Youth and Drugs), KYS (Know Your Stuff NZ), Waitematā Local Board and The Button Factory.
It is an open floor, and we invite all curious minds to come along and join in the sharing.
