This is a fun class to introduce your child to acting on the stage! Students will play theatre games, develop performance and creative thinking skills, and gain confidence in a fun, playful environment.

Teaching artist
Merlia is an actor, singer-songwriter, and drama tutor based in Auckland. She graduated from the National Academy of Singing and Dramatic Arts in 2022 with a focus on musical theatre, and continued her training at The Actors’ Program in 2024.
You may recognise Merlia from TAPAC stage productions including Old McDonald and the Tippity Tappity Rabbit and The Very Odd and Unusual Egg. Alongside her stage and screen work, she has begun releasing her own music this year.
At TAPAC, Merlia teaches drama with a focus on building student confidence and unlocking the power of imagination and creativity.
