This course is designed to introduce sewing to 10- 15-year-olds. Students will learn essential techniques to create their very own tote bag and or bucket hat! They will be guided through each step of the way and by the end of the course, they'll have handcrafted projects to take home and enjoy, both functional and fun!
Those with sewing experience will be extended through opportunities exploring the world of patterns and fabrics and encouraged to take their skills beyond the basics. Through each project students will gain valuable knowledge both in skills and expression.
Some basic materials supplied but you will need to buy fabric for your main project.
