Start your journey in the hospitality industry with this practical, two-day barista course designed for beginners. You’ll gain hands-on experience using commercial espresso machines while learning how to prepare a range of café-style drinks to a professional standard.
Throughout the course, you’ll develop essential barista skills, including espresso extraction, milk texturing, and drink presentation. The training is aligned with NZQA standards and focuses on real-world café scenarios, helping you build confidence and be ready to work in a café environment.
This course is ideal for those with little or no experience in cafés or restaurants who want to gain a recognised NZQA micro-credential and improve their employment opportunities in the New Zealand hospitality sector.
