Step into Pop Art
Discover bold colour and iconic imagery in Triple Elvis, part of Pop to Present: American Art from the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, on Level 1.
Afterwards, head to Kids & Whānau Create and create your own Pop Art moment. Pick a costume, pose for the camera, and bring your personality to life.
Using thermal digital cameras, you’ll capture a series of three portraits, displayed together in a vibrant Pop Art style frame.
Waitangi Day Shimmering Waka
Rising skyward and formed from hundreds of sparkling crystals, Guide Kaiārahi by Reuben Paterson invites us to imagine journeys beyond the everyday.
To mark Waitangi Day, families are invited to Kids & Whānau Create to make a shimmering waka lantern of their own, a symbol to light the way on your personal journey.
