Sculpting with Clay is a fun and hands-on ceramics workshop for creative tweens and teens aged 10+. Guided by experienced ceramicist Christine Winbush, students will learn basic hand-building techniques while creating a unique handmade clay piece of their choice inspired by their imagination and ideas explored during the session.
This holiday workshop encourages creativity, experimentation and self-expression through clay in a supportive studio environment. Participants will explore shaping, sculpting and texture while developing foundational ceramic skills and confidence working with clay by hand.
All pieces will be fired after the workshop and ready for pickup approximately 3 weeks later. Creations can also be painted at home to add extra colour and detail.
Please bring an apron or wear clothes you don’t mind getting clay on.
Please note: wheelchair access to the school and Ceramics Studio is available via the driveway entrance beside the main house. Some upstairs studios are accessible only by stairs. Contact the school directly for accessibility support.
