Come on into Workspace Christchurch to create a selection of sweet treat beads. Working with both standard and pandora-sized mandrels, you will learn techniques for making donuts and cupcakes, complete with icing and sprinkles, using colourful molten glass. What a great way to spend an evening during the spring holidays!
As one of the earliest forms of human adornment, beads have long functioned as a way to express individuality, and what better way to do that than to learn to make your own unique beads?
In this fun introduction to lampworking, you’ll learn the basic techniques for creating tiny desserts, then use what you’ve learned to make imaginative beads of your own. No previous experience is needed – although some pre-existing skills would help to achieve more intricate projects. Everyone is welcome - just bring your imagination and get ready to play with glass!
This is a great way to make something delightful for yourself or your loved ones.
