Come into Workspace Christchurch and make your own beautiful, perfectly ripe fruit beads using colourful molten glass. As one of the earliest forms of human adornment, beads have long functioned as a way to express individuality, and what better way to do that than to learn to make your own unique beads?
In this fun introduction to lampworking, you’ll learn the basic techniques for creating tiny glass apples, raspberries and lemons, then use what you’ve learned to dream up fruit shapes of your own. No previous experience is needed – although some pre-existing skills would help to achieve more intricate projects. Everyone is welcome - just bring your imagination and get ready to play with glass!
This is a great way to make something delightful for yourself or your loved ones.
