Dawn of the Space Age is a planetarium show exploring the early history of human space exploration and the remarkable missions that shaped our journey beyond Earth.
The experience begins with the launch of Sputnik and follows the key milestones of the space race, including the Russian space programme and the American Gemini, Apollo and Space Shuttle missions. Along the way, audiences will discover important moments in space exploration, from the Viking mission to Mars to the Voyager probes travelling to the outer planets.
The show also looks ahead to modern developments such as the International Space Station, private spaceflight and future plans for human missions to Mars. It offers a fascinating look at the people and technologies behind some of the most daring achievements in space history.
After the film, the programme continues with an immersive full-dome presentation of the night sky.
