An immersive audiovisual show combining iconic music and kaleidoscopic visuals inside Stardome’s planetarium.
The Psychedelic Mixtape is an immersive audiovisual experience that blends iconic music with mesmerising visual art inside the planetarium dome.
Premiering in Los Angeles before arriving in Auckland, this shared-reality show brings together the music of Radiohead, David Bowie, George Harrison and The Flaming Lips in a kaleidoscopic journey of light, colour and sound.
Created by renowned DJ and visual artist Chris Holmes, the experience draws on decades of DJ culture and remixing. Using hand-built kaleidoscopes, expansive landscapes and layered visual effects, the show transforms the dome into a constantly shifting world of patterns and imagery.
Designed to be both hypnotic and uplifting, the experience invites audiences to relax, immerse themselves in the music and explore a sensory journey beyond the ordinary.
Total duration: 45 minutes.
Please note
Bookings are required.
