Discover the depth and balance of Indian cuisine in this relaxed and hands-on four week cooking course. You’ll learn how to prepare a selection of well loved dishes such as butter chicken, rogan josh, tandoori chicken and freshly made roti, while exploring the spices and techniques that give Indian food its distinctive flavour.
The tutor can tailor recipes to suit dietary preferences, including vegetarian and vegan options. By the end of the course, you’ll feel confident recreating these meals at home. Each participant receives a small starter pack of spices to continue practising beyond the classroom.

Week 1: Dhal, chicken curry, aloo jeera (potato and cumin), yellow rice
Week 2: Palak paneer soup, tandoori chicken, plain paratha, lemon rice
Week 3: Lamb curry, puri, vegetable pulao, green banana fry
Week 4: Chicken pulao with raita, aloo tikki, stuffed paratha (meat or vegetarian), malai kofta
Important information
• A $50 ingredient contribution is payable directly to the tutor at the first session.
• Please bring an apron, tea towel and a container for leftovers.
• Suitable for vegetarian and vegan participants. Please advise in advance by email.
All courses require a minimum number of enrolments to proceed. If minimum numbers are not met, the course may be cancelled 1 to 2 working days before the start date and participants will be notified by email. Please check your inbox and spam folder regularly. Refunds are not available for cancellations made less than five working days before the course begins.
