Lies, disguise and camouflage: Reality as a source of inspiration and imagination for the fictionally challenged with Judith White.
This workshop will play with the manipulation and harnessing of imagination, observation and experience with a view to practical application through writing fiction.
There will be exercises encouraging students to work in class. Guidance will be given on breaking into new work, looking at ideas and what to do with them, and the development of different aspects of writing techniques including character, dialogue, point of view, setting, narrative voice and sentimentality.
