This hands-on class is a great way for beginners to discover the art of lampworking and learn to shape and decorate glass beads that can be turned into unique earrings – perfect for your own jewellery collection or as a handmade gift.
With guidance from Sarah Brock, you’ll learn the basic techniques for working with molten glass and designing your own pieces. Those with existing experience can explore more intricate techniques and develop more elaborate designs.
In this three-hour class, you’ll have the opportunity to create several decorative beads. How many you make is up to you: some students make up to 10, while others take their time perfecting fewer, more intricate pieces.
