Public Speaking for Real Life
Build confidence speaking in everyday situations in this supportive, low-pressure class. Designed for real-life communication rather than formal debate, the course focuses on practical skills you can use at work, in the community, and in social situations.
Across a short series of evening sessions you will learn how to structure a clear and engaging talk, manage nerves, and speak naturally and confidently.
During the course you will practise:
• Introducing yourself and speaking to a group
• Giving short presentations or team updates
• Speaking confidently in interviews
• Delivering toasts and handling Q&A
• Organising ideas into a clear speaking structure
Sessions include simple exercises, friendly feedback and practical techniques that you can apply immediately in everyday conversations and presentations.
No prior experience is required. English language learners are welcome.
