This lively, hands-on workshop is designed for complete beginners, but it’s also a great opportunity for more experienced students to enjoy a creative session making their own set of stacking bangles!
Everyone will leave with a beautifully finished, solid silver bangle with their own preferred texture. You can finish your copper bangle too, and leave with a set!
We’ll begin by learning the basic technique on your copper, where you’ll practice creating textures using little hammers. Once you’re confident you’ll move on to your main project: a length of round solid silver wire, to be turned into a slender bangle crafted entirely by you from start to finish. Along the way, you’ll learn essential jewellery making skills including measuring, texturing, soldering, shaping, and finishing.
Students are free to personalise their bangle with simple textures or leave it plain and give it a bright polish or a satin finish.
This workshop is a taster class: perfect for anyone seeking a fun, creative experience with a beautiful result, or for those looking to dip their toes into jewellery making and build foundational skills.
Important Note for Young Makers: Kids aged 12 and over are welcome to attend, but anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an enrolled parent or caregiver.
