A beginner's deep dive course into perspective drawing, covering one to four-point perspective.
There is so much to learn in perspective that we've created a course dedicated to it, in it's honour. You can learn to draw anything you like from any angle you like - whether you're drawing something real, or from you imagination, or mixing the two together. Note that this course entails working on paper not a device.
This course helps you to use the tricks of perspective to create images that have solidity, form, dimension, and depth.
We learn:
- One Point Perspective – The simplest of the perspective forms
- Two Point Perspective – To show more of the form
- Three Point Perspective – Adding to the complexity
- Four Point Perspective – Yes we go there too.
Each of these forms have their own rules to adhere to, and tricks to use. When mastering these four forms you can draw the image that you want. Your drawings will have a sense of being rooted in reality, even if it depicts fantasy, surrealism, or whatever other fanciful reality you'd like to conjure.
No class on Labour Day 26 October 2026.
